90-day New Grad Survival Package

Start Offering June 15

Because passing the NCLEX teaches you how to become licensed.
Your first 90 days teach you how to become a nurse

Meet Your Mentor

Hi, I'm Rhoda Sommer, and I've been a Nurse since 1981 • Clinical Instructor • Nurse Educator • Director of Nursing • NCLEX Tutor • New Nurse Mentor

Over the last four decades, I've worked as a bedside nurse, clinical instructor, nurse educator, and Director of Nursing. I've helped countless nursing students prepare for the NCLEX and supported new nurses as they took their first steps into professional practice.

But what many people don't know is that I wasn't always confident.

I remember what it felt like to be new. I remember questioning myself, worrying about making mistakes, and wondering if I was truly ready. I even experienced the disappointment of failing the NCLEX before eventually passing and building the nursing career I had dreamed of.

That experience shaped how I teach today.

I created One on One Tips because I believe new nurses deserve more than orientation and a quick "good luck." They deserve a mentor who understands the challenges of the first year, someone they can talk to without judgment, and someone who can help them build confidence one step at a time.

That's why I created the 90-Day New Grad Survival Package.

This program is designed for new nurses who are anywhere in their first year and want support during those critical first months on the floor. Together, we'll work on:

  • Time management and workflow

  • Clinical judgment and decision-making

  • Communication with physicians and the healthcare team

  • Medication safety

  • Documentation and charting

  • Confidence-building strategies

  • Patient advocacy

  • Handling difficult situations and tough shifts

  • Developing a plan for long-term success

Most importantly, you'll have someone in your corner who genuinely wants to see you succeed.

You don't have to figure everything out alone.

The first 90 days of nursing can feel overwhelming, but they can also become the foundation of a confident and successful career.

I would be honored to walk beside you during that journey.

Let's turn surviving your first 90 days into thriving in your nursing career. ❤️
